Taste Local! Taste Fresh!

Foodlink Waterloo Region’s local food showcase and fundraiser Taste Local! Taste Fresh! is celebrating its 16th Anniversary on Sunday, September 8th, 2019, 2-5 pm at Steckle Heritage Farm. The not for profit’s signature event, taking place in peak harvest season, will bring together local food producers and the Region’s top chefs for a culinary extravaganza.

Guests will be able to spend a delightful afternoon tasting delectable local food creations among the charming grounds of Steckle Farm, a heritage designated property and working farm right in the City of Kitchener! Much of the event will take place within a breathtaking post and beam style barn dating back to 1840. Some 20 original food creations prepared by farmer/chef teams will be featured offering participants an opportunity to sample mouth-watering recipes showcasing local foods and farm-fresh products. An exquisite one of a kind pottery plate will be provided to each guest.

Early bird tickets till Aug 31 and 10-pack discount tickets available.
